It takes a long time and a lot of material to make a really complete cabinetmaker's workbench with every conceivable feature. Two of these were ordered by an astute customer for him and his wife to use and then pass on to their two children. I will wager that they will truly become family heirlooms. With that in mind the cost does not seem so high. Might even look nice in a dining room as a server.
